  1. I have mastered DVD Shrink to create my output files.

I have also used DVD Lab in the past with success.

How can I take 2 x movies that I've reauthored in DVD Shrink and create a menu for them?

Both films will be on the same disk.

I don't want to have to use DVD Lab as there's no point demuxing and muxing again.

    Any advice chaps?

  2. Thanks for the tip. The reviews seem to suggest that only scene selection menus can be created.

Is there a ULead product that will accept an existing VOB as the input file, and allow a menu to be created from there?

  3. With Tmpgenc DVD you can have two levels of menus. I'm not sure what else you would want a menu to do.

TMPGenc DVD Author will accept a VOB, just make sure when you start a project you select 'load DVD video' from the source menu, this will load what you need

I personally use DVD2One to create the movie only, so that I can fit 2 movies onto a single DVD, then use TMPGenc DVD Author to create a simple 2 movie menu from the included templates

If you are using that author software, just make sure you select 'display main menu' for the start, otherwise you may find it will play the first movie straight away, 'main menu' is not set as the initial default

This is very easily forgotten about .............

For what is does, in creating simple menu with no real frills, it does a very good job. The next release is supposed to be even better, it doesn't get updated too often, but when it does you will find that features are added to make your life easier and authoring better

Don't worry if you don't hear any audio, if you use AC3 soundtracks, you need to install the AC3 plugin, which is another cost factor, but isn't essential

  5. Thanks guys!!

The next question is then (until the next release comes out) is can I create a slicker menu in DVD-Lab (with which I have got quite good at) and export that into TMPGEnc DVD Author?
