Hi all,
I'm learning to use the manual mode feature on my JVC DV3000U. I'm getting the hang of it outside. My issue is inside low light.
I don't like using the ACG feature as it really shifts the brightness up and down and gives a grainy appearnce (although it is not all that bad). To me, the look of the non ACG picture is much cleaner.
How do I adjust the exposure when not in ACG mode. I'm on 1/60th shutter speed already. The gain adjustments don't work without the ACG.
I was shooting my daughter's concert last night. She was off to the side and not in the direct stage lights. So for the kids in the center of the stage it was fine, but she ended up being very dark. How can I compensate for the lower light without the ACG?
Glenn
