You gotta be kidding me. You might want to find another hobby. Please lose the CAPS and the bold too.

Indeed. Video encoding and such is not for people who like things to be automated.

If I understand you correctly, you want to put a couple of movies onto 1 DVDR, keeping the original menus and perhaps having an auxiliary menu that links to these ?

    Can't be done.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. Right now I use Dvd2svcd to rip and encode to the desired filesize. Then I use DVDlab Pro or Maestro to author then I use IMGtool Classic to create an iso and burn it with DVD Decrypter. I have used this method to backup multiple movies to 1 dvdr and know how time consuming it can be. I am a newbie and learned this method from a friend of mine. I'm sorry about the newbie post but I'm trying to get up to date and thought there may be a better method than the one I've been using.

  8. Actually there is a freeware program (57kb) that can compress up 10 movies (20hrs) on one 4.7 GB DVD and encode ANY viewable file type, DIVX, AVI, MPEG2, whatever !!!!!! What's REALLY cool about it, is that there is NO quality loss and is also "one click" backup automated !!!!

I just forget the website to get it......

AFAIK, there is no way to put the menus of two different movies onto the one DVDR and get it to play with full navigation in a settop DVD player. If you have been able to achieve this then you are a genius.
    If in doubt, Google it.
