  1. I have been using DVD2SVCD to make my burns. Lately however, the final output of 2 mpgs have been larger than a CD can handle - ie. around 757MB. I have used a bitrate calculator which says the bitrate should be around 2150 for the movie length with 2 74min. cds. Can someone please give me a simple explanation so I can figure out what's wrong with my settings?

    Thanks!

  2. 750- meg is good for a 74 min svcd/vcd...just make sure it is a standard vcd/svcd file because if not it wont be reconized as a vcd/svcd file and then u wouldnt be able to use the 750meg 74 min benefit...it will be treated as 650meg 74 minutes...that what was happenin to me my 760 meg file was always too large for my 700meg 80 minute cd..but if u have a standard vcd/svcd file then u can burn up to 800 megs on that 80 minute cd...use tmpg to demuliplex your svd then multiplex it back with the svcd format type and then everything should fit

  3. Thanks for the reply.. .that makes sense. ..except. .

I'm curious why DVD2SVCD would not be making compliant SVCD mpegs. What's strange is I didn't have this problem before. . then I rebuilt the box, downloaded the new DVD2SVCD, installed CCE and now this problem.

Is there some setting I need to look into?
