  1. I decrypted a DVD to my computer using dvddecrypter

I now want to burn it using Nero

I have never used Nero before and am having trouble figuring out what to do. It is the newest available version of Nero, says my buddy who told me where to get it form and all.

Now I just can't find anything that says "Burn DVD's" or anything, and really have just been messing around...

I came to a screeen that says Nero Express: Final Burn Settings, and I selected the file and all that I want burned... but for some reason the place where I would click on burn is grayed and not bright so that I am able to click on it.

Please let me know if you can help!

    Thanks so much!

You probably want to remove that from your post and use the version info from the "Help->About Nero Burning ROM" menu.

You can open Nero Express, choose Video->DVD, then add the files from the VIDEO_TS folder that you ripped to the VIDEO_TS folder in Nero.

Also, list the exact steps that you have tried. I may just be repeating things that you have already done.

  3. Click Recorder, choose recorder, select yours.
    Put in a blank.
    Select File, New.
From the window that pops up, select DVD Video, click NEW.
Drag your files from the right side, to the left side.
    Click the Burn icon.
If everything is right, you'll get a finished dvd.

  5. if you have a really new version of nero (ie Nero 6.summit), there should be startsmart... load that, on the top left you should see two tabs, CD and DVD.. click dvd, hover your pointer over the icons at the top until you see video, and DVD.. this will take you into nero express ready to burn a DVD movie... simply add you files to the video_ts folder.

main thing to remember is to put all the files into the video_ts folder, if you do this, u should be home and dry (just click next and change the settings to what you would prefer!)

    Good Luck!!

Regarding your PLEXTOR 708UF drive. Read the link below it regards DVDXCOPY SOFTWARE using PLEXTOR 708A & 708UF drives. I knew this software was buggy & incompatible for some with the 708 drive. I knew I read about it on cdfreaks.com. This is probably why you're having so many problems trying to back up dvds. Uninstall your ROXIO EASY CD CREATOR. That's also part of the problems you're having. I'm done with this thread. Good Luck dude

  9. when you decrypted your DVD, did you have it in file mode?? You can check this by using the menu at the top.

If so, you should have VOB, BUP and IFO, files and not an ISO image... This should stop you from having the easy CD creator image.

If you need to burn what you have ripped to your PC, goto where the file in question is located, and double click it(it should now open up easy cd creator ready to burn onto your DVD. If you have deleted easy CD creator, try right clicking the file, and open with... then choose nero burning ROM. Check the speed that it will copy, and burn.

Nero should be able to do this, hopefully it will solve your problem!

DUDE! Just DL DVD Shrink - set it to use NERO for burning and read the Shrink guides on how to use. Shrink will Rip - transcode if needed and burn the disk for you ( using Nero ) in one continous series of steps. It's pretty much idiot proof.

Even I can do it and I'm a total idiot
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
