Hi guys,
I'm in market for a Capture Card and was considering ATI one.
I need to know if it's any good, going by the specs on it from the ATI website(link below)
http://www.ati.com/na/pages/products/pc/radeon64_ddr/index.html
It seems an excellent Video Capture card as well as an excellent graphics card but i need a few opinions on it before i jump in at the deep end and buy it.
So comeon guys don't be shy let me really know what you think of it.
Thanks in advance

Yeah, is a nice card, but has been superceded by newer ATI cards and some GeForce cards are faster!
I've got one, and am happy with it, but I will be upgrading soon.... -
The capture part of the card hasn't changed at all, so the AIW Radeon and the AIW Radeon 8500 are the same capture wise.
I'm a bit annoyed that they don't have fully working software for XP though.

Yea...but the 8500 AIW has firewire....and that will allow going from DV to mpeg 1/2 without any problems.
Also...from what I hear....the 8500 has a faster clock rate then the previous version.
Memory clock is the same..but the core is different.
