I have Win Xp with Real Player 10 and Windows Media Player 9. I can play mpg files in Win DVD 4 but in other programs I am missing the audio, Media Player says I need an audio codec. I have check forums and guides and looked at tools and it is not really clear.
Thanks in advance.

Still a few bugs in the system...

The type of audio normally found in mpeg videos that are downloaded is mp2. And mp2 codec is supplied as part of the standard windows installation, so that is probably not the case here. The other alternative is Ac3 audio. You can download and install ac3filter from the tools section.
