New DVD software

I've just purchased Nero 6 (OEM). Currently installed on my PC is MyDVD (Verson 4.0) and Nero 5.5 (Came with the Liteon CD burner I recently replaced with a SOHC 812S (Liteon), and PowerDVD. I have two questions - (1) should I uninstall MyDVD and the "old" Nero before installing the new? (2) the installation CD for MyDVD stated "...uninstall Intel Application Accelerator (AA) driver......before install MyDVD Media Suite to prevent software conflict between AA and Sonic DLA". Even though I had no earthly idea what they were talking about, I did what was recommended. Should I reinstall it (AA) before/after (?) installing Nero 6? Thank you very much for the help.

i would recommend a new install for nero, don't think it supports just upgrade...start with a fresh copy
about that AA....strange, don't know what it means, because I am a AMD freak don't think it matter.

I got the exact same warning, and I'm on an AMD system...go figure.
Anyhow, after one day with Sonic...
I update Nero right over top of itself. Nero's installer does an excellent job.
Did you have Intel's AA previously installed? If not, don't bother. If you did, no loss.
