When I reboot my XP pro, and it returns to the desktop, my mouse right- and left- buttons dont work correct and are unable to click anything. For example when I "right-click" on the bottom tool-bar nothing happens. For some reason I need to "alt-right-click" on the desktop 2 or 3 times. After that I have full control of the mouse, and I can right-click on the bottom toolbar and get the "properties" menu.

Any help and siggestion will be appreciated.

I have the setup as indicated below

correction - I need to press "ALT-TAB" 2 or 3 times before I get control of my mouse and the desktop

And, this is a fresh install of XP. no other software or hardware has been installed.

    Wireless mouse?

When did it start? Did you install anything (software or hardware) before the problem started? After the problem started?
