hi all im a totaly new to this and have read various guides on how to convert avi file to dvd i have used tmpeng ,dvd 2 svcd,x-oom divx2dvd
ect and i have the same problem with them all i convert the film and burn to dvd all is well ...... the problem is the audio starts off all in sync for around 30-40mins then goes out by about 1-2 seconds after that is there something i am missing or some way of correcting it???????
any advice would be most welcome

There might be faulty fames in the avi file which could casue that. you can scan the file with virtualdub and mask the bad frames.
