  1. I have a problem that I jsut cannot find ANY answers for.

I have a music video that I downloaded off Morpheus. The video quality is great but the audio is distorted and VERY loud. What I want to do is extract the audio and video to separate files, which I did with Tmpeg.

The audio file however is audio.mp2 and none of the programs I have will read it (Cool edit etc.) I wanted to place it in a program like Cool Edit, normalize it, take out the hiss and then re-encode it back to mp2 (which TMpeg will do).

Any suggestions on how to edit the mp2 or convert it to something else (wav or mp3) then edit (cool edit etc) then encode back into the video mpeg2 file.

    Thank you!
