Its about my dvd players skipping and freezing up in the middle of a disc . I've tried all disc and it skips and freeze. i tried opening the dvd player case and using 99% alcohol to clean the lens but no help. and this is my 2nd dvd player i bought last year cause my old dvd player does the same thing , freezing in the middle of a disc. Im outta luck now and out of patient. I know alot of people has the same problem as i do too cause i've read reviews on the net on dvd players. Anyone has any idea how to fix this problem let me know. I'll check back later .

If Commercial - Brand new or rented.. if rented... lots of scratches..
If Home Grown - Which brand... have you had a friend also try on their machines -

I had the same problem. A big scratch. I bought DVDDr at bestbuy for $49.00, include tax about $53.00
It fix my bad dics very good. Good luck. -
Try QuakerState or Havoline 10-30W - That should fix it

Since nobody has given you a proper answer I will try to help you ,if the dvds you are talking about are recorded or burned by you then it is the dvd blank media you are using,why dont you try a better brand of blanks. If its rented or borrowed dvds then your laser is starting to go out on you...
