I d/l codecs from www.3ivx.com which allowed me to play a "raw-mac1" file in both WMP and Quicktime but neither have sound. When I run gspot on the file I get this info and was wondering what I need to do, also is raw-mac1 a mac file

    Thks

    Audio Format:
    Code: 0x2000
    Name: WAVE_FORMAT_AC3
    Vendor: Dolby Laboratories, Inc

Gspot was unable to find an audio codec which will decompress this format.

DirectShow was also able to find a codec to render it - the sound for this media clip should work fine.

See the DirectShow Render details for more info.

I'm pretty sure the AC3 ACM Decompressor doesn't act as a decoder filter, but rather as a means for decompressing to other formats. Try the AC3 Filter.
