HELP! CAPTURE PROBLEM ON STUDIO 7!!!

Im using the software Pinnacle Studio 7
It can play the video but when i go to capture it says error
what should i do

I've had the same problem, assuming that you are trying to capture from a DV camera. This is how i fixed it. I updated the software to the lastet update. I then downloaded this fix for the DV capture. Its on Pinnacle's website but I'm not sure where. I'll look for it. And if this doesn't work you might wanna try reinstalling your operating system. The latter should be your last resort. Also you might wanna see if other programs can capture. Hope all this helps. I couldn't find that DV capture fix but the fix only works for the card that Pinnacle gave you when you bought Pinnacle DV 7, if you bought that. You might wanna try reinstalling windows. I know it sucks but it might just do the trick.
