Well, easiest would be to "borrow" it from a DVD you own. You've not stated what your target format is, so how to get it from there to whatever it is you're doing, I can't answer.

Let me see if I understand this correctly...

You have an AVI which you most likely downloaded, because no-one in their right mind would encode to AVI using those crappy settings. You then come here, read the Acceptable Use Policy and decide that the rules and guidelines contained within aren't for you. You then decide to post anyway, without doing any research, or using the search facility, or looking in the Convert section to the left. You then want to put a copyright notice on this ? Again the metthod for doing this is contained in, you guessed it, the guides section to the left.

Please correct me if I have anything wrong here.
    If in doubt, Google it.

PAL / NTSC what? VCD? DVD? SVCD?
No matter, rip just the part you want from a DVD (warning/copyright notice/whatever) and use it!

why you would want to put a copyright notice on your own file is beyond me, but all you have to do is rip the vob from a dvd then convert it to avi or mpg or whatever it is your converting to. if it is warez you're dealing with, don't. or don't tell us about it anyways.

    If in doubt, Google it.

Is a copyright notice for the FBI valid on your own file ?

Methinks there is some selling going on here.
    If in doubt, Google it.

If someone bought warez, why would they pay attention to the FBI warnings at the beginning? makes no sense to me.

I wasn't sure about their second post so chose not to reply for now. I didn't know if they wanted to set the start point in TMPGenc to cut the warnings out or find a warning to put in. I suspect the first one.

Clear. Consise. Demonstrates a fluent understanding of the English Language. [/sarcasm]

"I want to know how to do the starting part where the copyright words come out" - This indicates to me that they want to include a copyright message.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    my eng is not good.

if its wrong to learn even this, then i am sorry, this forum sldnt be here. newbie threads is for people like us who doesnt know much abt softwares and ask those who noe. if those who noes and wan to teach, we newbies can learn. if those who dun wanna teach, they can dun bother to even post? i dun believe that none of u are ever a newbie be4. i am not saying in here. i mean other places, etc. dun tell me u knows everything without teaching or learning, then who needs teacher.

i went to Ulead seminar be4 and the person said by using the software, we can add the copyrite thing in our vcd/dvd. and people can go further no matter wat they press and they have to read the stuff that we wrote. i wanna learn how to put it up and write my own and writte crap when my family members watches the videos i do no matter is rip movies or from my view cam.

No need to blow a gasket, Charlie.

You really want to make your relatives sit through a copyright warning ? Or is it more a case of "because you can" ?

My point throughout this thread has been that all the information is here - it helps if you make an attempt to look for it. It also helps if you can explain what you have, what you are trying to get and how you are trying to do it in reasonable detail. I gather that English is your second language so I'm certainly not holding that against you, but the language barriers do make it hard for us to understand your problem, just as it is probably hard for you to understand our solutions.

    As for forum etiquette, well...

You posting a question here opens yourself up to all kinds of comments in return - you gotta be a bit more thick-skinned about it. Not everyone is gonna be nice as pie to you so get used to it.
    If in doubt, Google it.
