  1. I just burnt my fist DVD using edited DV from my digital camera. The edited movie features music, titles and menus. It plays back very poor in my mom's DVD player and a lot better in mine, although still very choppy at certain parts. Why is it like this, the video files played back perfect on the PC. Did I put too much on one disc, because the DVD is very near full. I used Nero to burn on a Fugifilm disc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you burnt too much ie right to the edge of the disc , It shouldn't affect the playback until the end.
You could try a slower burn.

  4. Sounds like it might be a media/DVD player compatibility issue. Try a different brand media. Check the DVD players list or the media forums for reccomendations for your player(s).

  5. Thanks! I'll try. Do you guys use Nero? If not, what are the best programs to use?

Nero 6.3.0.0 - no problems so far
Also used DVD Decrypter burner occasionally - good results.

  7. Cool, everything seems to be fine! I just had a successful burn, maybe it was just a bad disk. This time I used a different brand of DVD-R and a different program. Next time I'll go back to Nero. Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate your help.
