can you capture regular VHS tapes off of it? I see everywhere it says S-VHS but what about just regular ass VHS tapes? i know it probably does i just wanna make sure =)

you can capture regular vhs tapes as well...the advc100 has two analog video inputs, s-video and composite (yellow rca plug) and you can use either. If your VCR has svideo out, then use that (preferred), otherwise, use the regular composite out.
