  1. Okay I know NuTech does it with there 082, now any possibility that LiteOn will honor the -R just as they do the +R with the wonderful Bitsetting, I love this bitsetting feature. I have a player that won't play -R, old as dirt(AudioLogic), but set that +R to DVD-ROM and man it plays like a champ. And I have way more -R than I do +R is why im asking.

Liteon Bitsetting is only for the + media.

  3. There is no bitsetting for -R. Nu's so-called "bitsetting" -R isn't real bitsetting. It's a hack that tries (with limited success, dependin on what playback device that you use) to work around things.

If you have a DVD player that cannot play back DVD-R discs then you need a new DVD player.

  5. Or Brave Heart can stick with DVD+R. Heck, it seems to work for him.

Brave Heart asked if bitsetting was available for -R format because he has more of those types of discs. As FulciLives wrote

    I agree with him

    I do too.

Buy the cheapest Chinese player that plays both formats.
