  1. I'm trying to convert a .avi file, with the tutorial https://www.videohelp.com/srtsubsvirtual.htm and I'm having a little problem. When I'm trying to start encoding, appears this frase: The error ocurred when ACM was initialized and after I click OK, appears the frase:Illegal floating decimal point calculation order and then I can't encode. What is the problem??? What should I do???

Sounds like an audio codec error. Open the AVI file with AVI Codec Reader, to see if you have all of the necessary codecs installed. AVI Codec should tell you what audio codec was used, and whether or not you have the necessary decoders installed.

  4. Well, I think that it's not this problem, because about audio is appearing that it's supported, and I can watch this movie with no problems
    What could be that???

If it's not a codec issue (sounds like it isn't), then the next thing I would look at would be the souce file itself, and the encoder. Try a different encoder and see if you get the same error.
