I am looking to replace my +RW only Teac DVD buner to one of the following.
TEAC DV-W58GA/KIT/B/W
TEAC DV-W58G/KIT/B
I found these on Dell's web site

The 2 seems to have the same model numbers, but they have different prices. Can anyone tell me who is the OEM of these 2 drives? Does anyone own these burners?

OEM Lite-On burners. G is a 811/851, GA is a 812. The latter supports -R/-RW @8x/4x (vs. 4x/2x for 811/851) and might (unofficially) be able to write DVD+R DL media...

Thanks for the info. I thought they were Pioneer OEM. Do you recomend Lite On burners? Or do you think a Pioneer or Sony would be better?

Actually, some Teacs are rebadged Pioneers. Not the ones you listed, though.
LiteOn 812S is good. It's a more well-rounded burner. Pioneer will give you better results in -R media, though (might have something to do with Pioneer being at the helm of the -R camp)
