I have had my Pioneer 107 for 3 months now and have upgraded the firmware all along. I am now using the new hacked 113 firmware. I have used both -R & +R 4x speed, everthing from Ritek GO4 discs through to Bulkpaq Orange and about 12 other types in between. Yet I cannot get Nero to burn faster than about 2.4x, even though I am selecting 4x or 8x.
My DMA is on, I am using Windows 98 with a Pentium 3 processor. No matter what disc I use, a full disc still takes about 22 minutes to burn.
Does anyone have any ideas?
