What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

    Avant Browser

Never had any problems with it, pop up and ad blocker, disable flash animation, java and active-x scripts if wanted. It's also tabbed and skin-able. Oh, and it's free with fairly regular updates.

2.Is there a spell checker for Firefox?
    Try http://white.sakura.ne.jp/~piro/xul/_linemarker.html.en#download
for a highlighter and here http://www.exchangecode.com/spellbound/ for a spellchecker.

    Hope this helps.

  4. Thanks burnman99; Spellbound works great. I have been doing a lot of customizing and and I have to say I'm starting to like Firefox. I'm going to try it awhile and see if I like it better than Avant Browser.

  5. Like IE but after reading some responses here may have to try Mozilla (I think I will love the tabbed pages function)

    Thanks

Firefox has now been upgraded to 0.9.2 and Mozilla has been upgraded to 1.7.1 to fix a security bug. I have to try the NeedleSearch Extension again since it is simply AMAZING!

In my earlier post I said I used Avant Browser but for the past couple of days I've been using Mozilla Firefox 0.9.2 and I'm liking it, a lot, especially the plug-in enhancements. Transferred all my favourites with no problems but is it possible to transfer my saved passwords or do I have to enter them again when I login to sites?

Still tweaking it but I reckon I'll be ditching Avant. Think I'll give Thunderbird a try as well.

I tend to switch back and forth between Opera and Mozilla Firefox. The both have their high points (Firefox with popup blocking, Opera with tabbed browsing,) but I wish Mozilla's tabbed browsing were more like Opera and Opera supported ActiveX and had a better popup blocker.

Be sure to check out the highly confusing but configurable Tabbed Browsing extention for FireFox (that is if its been updatedto work with the new version) TONS of good features in it.

I've been using Firefox for about two weeks. It's my browser of choice, unless I'm having trouble loading a page. Then, I use IE.

Firefox is like a cross between Opera's speed and Safari's added doohickies.
