  8. Mozilla all time.

    Two questions:

    (1) Mozilla Vs Firefox: which better?

    (2) IE6 Browser Hijack by MSN:

Every time I open my IE6, always reset my home page to the MSN even I had changed it back to 'blank'. My Ad-Aware pro v6 clean up the 'HKey-Current_User' every time. But next time openning the PC, it always comes back to Bill's MSN!

    Any luck?

I think they are both great browsers, but i use Firefox because of the customizable toolbar and the external apps extension. I use TBE and Adblock with both of em too. I also like the mycroft search toobar that comes with firefox. That's my 2 cents!

  12. I use Mozilla. I was tired of popups and active x drive bys so I got this instead on IE6. I also like its email program, it quickly put OE out of business on my machine. Theres a few reason I like it better than IE

    1. No Popups
    2. No active x drive bys
    3. Tabbed browsing.
    4. Quicker to load pages
    5. More stable(never gave me a "INSERT NAME caused an invalid page fault")
6 Not bloated. Has many features but doesnt suck up hard drive like IE did.
    7. it can actually be uninstalled.

Yes, but to me, it's more than worth the $30.00 for the full version.

Maybe I'm just lazy, but IE6 has always worked for me. But I feel its sorta like did you drive a Honda to get here today? If the driving is what you're into then it matters, otherwise the fact that you are here is all that matters.

  21. Opera. Or failing that Mozilla. If neither of these two browsers can't open a website, then I just don't go there!

I've installed Firefox .9 on several machines, a word of warning. Completely remove your old firefox first. 3 our of 4 times it crashed after installing it. To fix it I had to uninstall Firefox, restart, delete the leftovers in the FF directory, then goto my user folder while viewing hidden folders and delete the folder with settings there. Only then did installing FireFox .9 work for me.

I sure hope they get over this kind of stuff by 1.0.

  26. I am trying the latest version of Firefox and have a couple of questions.

    1. When I use Avant Browser to browse the VideoHelp Forums and other forums when I click the back button to get to the index page; the forum I just visited is highlited so I know what link I just used. Can I set Firefox to do this?

2.Is there a spell checker for Firefox?
