SatStorm a Moderator?!

i am pleased that satstorm is now a moderator. and i especially like the pikachu avatar.

I think some people may be making too much out of the status of a moderator. It simply means they help run the forum. They're not grand authority figures or gifted with mystical powers. They can perform a few functions that regular members can't in order to keep the forum running smoothly.

I share this opinion, and could never understand why people were posting 'congrats'.
What, do you get an award too or something?

Then there are people who perceive moderators as targets and can't resist the temptation to confront them. For whatever reason, they feel it's a challenge that they can't pass up.

I don't see any of this, but what I do see is people challenging the one's who feel they have a divine right to be complete and utter arseholes, and preach to the rest of us.

I Take it you will be replacing me ? since i've asked to have my Moderator status revoked.

Oh dear, didn't think so many would comment on me not being a moderator, guys, I have been and ever shall be part of this forum, I will always write the guides to the best of my ability for the newbies and will always attempt to try and help anyone I can. Those things will never change.

@SatStorm, I'm not embrassed about my moment, I still stand and go by what I said back then, I don't take any part of it back. Not being a Moderator is not all that bad. I'll simply be a regular user who gets the same treatment as other users

@JohnnyCNote, I Have no "personal" grievance (I think that's the word) against you. But I do not retract anything I have said and I still go by every word said by me (Even after reviewing that whole thread again and again) so even if it will mean i'll get banned off the forums completly. I still take full responsibility for what I say and do here. I Do not wish to be considered above others because I have a Moderator Status, and if that means I got marked for what I think was right, then I don't want to be a Moderator. If I was "angry" I could have used my "power" to my advantage but I don't work that way.
