Want to Make a Mixed DVD

Hi, I know this subject has already been on this forum, but i have search and just wondering what is really the best way to take some part of a dvd movie and to put on a dvdr...
i have some tv shows on dvd, and i want to make a dvd of best of

the guide on this website propose this way
1- dvd shrink
2- rejig
3- tnpengc dvd author

i usually just rip them all to my hard drive with DVD shrink, then do a re-author, take the chunks from the DVDs I want and burn. volia. a custom DVD. I've got one with Breakfast Club, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, and 16 Candles on it. It works great.
