How many times we can rewrite a DVD+RW disc. Say a TDK disc which I believe is better quality than others.

if you believe the vendors...about 100,000 times (100 times more than CDRW). horror stories here would have you believe differently. some users state their dvdrw failed after as little as 3 months. personally all mine are still fine (Verbatim MCC) after about 6 months and as many as 8 rewrites.

Those numbers are for ideal conditions, no durt, no scratches, no high temp storage etc.
But if you take care of your DVD's and you buy good ones then the amount of times you can rewrite it isn't something you should worry about. -
My Imation DVD+RW's have 50-75 rewrites and still going strong. My HP DVD+RW has 200-250 rewrites with no errors.

makntraks, I agree. If it work atleast 20/30 times then it is sufficient for me. I think the quality will also be same for R and RW.
Just my opinion-> I will spend $10 more to get 50 pack RW rather than R.

I also have (finally) a Verbatim DLP DVD+RW disc that my Optorite will actually burn. It's already up to 70 write/erase cycles without any problems. -

Don't you just love typos?
Hey, wait a minute. He's talking about TDK +R discs, and everybody knows that's the choice of warez pirates for moving their movies from thevalentipirates.com to DVD.
