  1. Okay, I've authored several DVD's, and none of them are all that big (1 gig average), so to save money, I use DVD2One's join feature to put them all into one. Only trouble is, I have no idea how it does it, but when I do, all three files play perfectly, with no sync issues, but when the VOB's all get mixed together, sync issues galore come up, usually the first part of it looks good, but it gets progressively worse.
Any pointers? Or should I just author them as separate chapters in Sizzle? The Join feature is nice because if I need a slight compression to fit the DVD, it does it, but if it causes problems, the heck with it!

What does "when the vobs get all mixed together" mean?

  3. by mixed together I mean 2 separate VIDEO_TS folders being merged into one, the join feature seems to merge the VOB's.

as long as you have valid VIDEO_TS folders it should not be a problem
but to me it sounds like you are making the VIDEO_TS folders with something [ie sizzle] so why not just make the entire dvd with the app?

since you are having problems with dvd2onex's join on these folders.
    just my 2cents

per the compressoin, i usually always have sizzle put out slightly more than 4.4 and dvd2one will do a disc copy of this with no problems
