  1. can someone explain to me how i might be able to burn a dvd using dvd decrypter

i dont know what to click and where
i seem to have downloaded a dvd to my computer, but cant find any means of writing it back on

the nero i have didnt work well

and for some reason, when i use dvd x copy... and put the dvd in the plextor burner for it to write to the computer and then have myself insert a blank into the burner once that is done.....it keeps asking me to insert a dvd movie, for some reason not recognizing that there is an actual dvd movie already in the burner

my problem must be with dvd x copy and not with my burner....any further suggestions?

    thanks so much!

  2. Nero 6 is the best burning program I can find, Never have any problems with it....

You say that nero didn't work well, did it work at all???

If it recognised your drive as a burner, that would be a good start. If that is the case try using DVD Shrink.. seriously good program and really easy to use.... oh and its free which is also very nice!!

As far as I am aware, to actually burn a dvd from DVD Decrypter, you have to have a burning program installed ie. you have todo what you are doin.. although i don't bother with dvd decryptor anymore as dvd shrink does everything i need it to!!

I won't explain how to use it step by step. Read the guides!!!!!
    http://www.dvddecrypter.com/guide.asp

I would suggest you uninstall DVDXCOPY. It sometimes causes conflicts with other software.

I am not sure if there is a solution to this, but I want to know how to uninstall the drivers, and yet be able to reinstall them (but I cannot find my stupid disc that come with my burner) Is that information available online?

    Thanks!
There are no drivers for your PLEXTOR 708UF burner. It seems you still have the same original problem with your burner. If your burner is still not being recognized then use restore in XP.

You're wrong about having a burning program in order for DVD DECRYPTER to burn dvds. Don't give out wrong information if you're not sure. You're confusing him more as it is. It's the latest DVD SHRINK that requires you to have NERO installed on your pc if you want to use the burning program that's incorporated with DVD SHRINK. DVD DECRYPTER can burn dvds but in ISO mode.
from my other post I wrote>>>>as for NERO burn go to their site and download a trial version. as i've stated if you have a single layer dvd movie try backing it up using DVD DECRYPTER because you can rip in ISO MODE & BURN the ISO image with using DVD DECRYPTER. You wouldn't need a burning program for a single layer dvd movie. by putting in a dvd movie open up DVD DECRYPTER, click on MODE, go to ISO, READ R, it will read the dvd movie. now look where is says, "LAYERS", if it says "1" then the dvd movie is a single layer dvd. you can then use DVD DECRYPTER to rip in ISO mode, then you can use it to burn the dvd as well. you would click on source which you choose your dvd burner, then where it says destination select a file find that ISO image you ripped, then burn it.
TO DrewTangDMB: READ THE LINK I PROVIDED FOR YOU REGARDING DVD DECRYPTER
