  1. Most of my discs progress up to 100% but never finalize, it just hangs with"30 seconds remaining". No error messages. Windows task manager does not show that it has stopped responding. I have had a few burn within 8 minutes but only get the first chapter or two.

I had no problem before upgrading to DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0 and InstantCopy 8.0.5. I have uninstalled and reinstalled each program. I tried the Hidden Settings program from Mr Bass. I am like a deer in the headlights when looking at all the variables. I used the recommended settings. I finally learned to stop wasting dvdrs and started using rws. I use DVD Decrypter in File Mode with Automatic settings usually. Like I said this setup wworked for several months until last week. I have even edited how Windows starts with msconfig to minimize other background programs.

Nero sucessfully burns data to cds and dvdrw. I wanted to stick with IC8 to minimize quality loss. I guess the obvious answer is to rollback to previous versions but I wanted to know if anyone else had the same experience.

I have WinXP SP1, Pioneer DVR106, Athlon XP 1600, 512mb PC2100, Asus A7V333, latest VIA 4in1 and adaptec ASPI drivers, 60gb and 160gb drives each about 75% full at the time (trying to increase free space). I did notice my cpu temp was high but fixed that.

    Thanks,
    Fred

  2. Here is my update... I completely uninstalled InstantCopy and reinstalled it from IC8 retail disk. I have had two disks burn completely correct. Unfortunately my 3rd attempt said it was complete but took only 15 minutes and gave me only the first 2 minutes of the movie. Although I still have a some problem I was completely wasting time when I had the 8.0.5 update to InstantCopy. I am still using the latest DVDdecrypter 3.2.2.0 and it seems to be ok.
