  1. If you burn a DivX video file to a CD-R and then play it in a standalone DVD player that supports the feature of playing divx, will the movie play in full screen regardless of the resolution of the file?

    It should, unless it was encoded incorrectly.

    I was referring to the use of qpel. Some players can't handle this type of encode. To be more specific, the use of qpel would only make an encode incorrect if it was intended for use on a standalone.
