I need a program to trim a 711mb .mpg file to 700mb so I can fit it onto a cdrw. I want to save it to .mpg without re-encoding. Vdub can open the file, trim it, but I have no option to save as mpeg. tmpgenc complains about an illegal mpeg video stream.
Isn't there a simple trimming program?

If it's a VCD or SVCD then you can author and burn to disk an mpeg up to 800 MB in size. (you probably know that)
Womble mpeg-VCR or mpeg video wizard can cut and splice mpegs. Free 30 day trial."Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa
