A short while back, many "experts" on this forum said that there would never be dual layer burners. Well now there is. Their argument was purchased DVDs (dual-layer) were manufactured that way and not "burned", and therefore copying a DVD would normally also require re-authoring and/or compression.
How do dual-layer burners work?

I still don't think there will be any dual layer burners...
