  1. I have read that VCD quality can be similar to VHS. I produce 20 minute underwater videos using a DV camera and they look great. I have been trying to burn VCDs using imovie 2.1.1 and Toast 5.0.2 on my ibook CD-R/DVD drive. The quality is v.poor. Is there anyway of increasing the quality (I am using the best quality PAL option in imovie).

  3. Thank for repying but it's not that I can't burn VCDs, it's that the quality is poor when played back on my TV or ibook. My VCDs are blocky. I need to improve the quality.

  4. If your videos are only 20 minutes, I would recomend burning SVCD. This will give your DVD quality, but only on a standalone player and TV.
