Hey everyone. I just got a new epson r200 because I was having problems with my dvd backups (and vcds) skipping/freezing. I was finally able to pinpoint it on the labels. That was definitely the answer as my non- labeled ridata dvd backups worked fine. I ventured into an epson r200. Now I've noticed my backups pixelating every 5-10 minutes. I was wondering if anyone experienced any problems with a disc printed on with the epson r200 . I was wondering if i can blame it on that, or should look at other things, such as my media and player. Thanks for the help! Here is what I use:
Nec 2500-burner
optodisc 4x dvd+r printable-blank dvd's
Dvdshrink and NERO-programs to backup
Samsung S222-Stand alone player
Thanks! Also, It doesn't seem to happen eveytime, and it can get worse at some parts of the movie then others.

I had lots of problems with the adhesive labels (freezing, skipping, etc.) so I stopped putting them on my discs and my problems stopped. Then I bought the epson r200 and have been doing labels again. I haven't had a single problem so far. A TON of people on this forum use the r200/300 and I haven't heard of any reports of problems (unless I've missed it) so your problems are most likely elsewhere and not the printer.
