  1. Hi all,

I'm a newbie in DV capturing/editing. I just finished editing my first home video using pinnacle studio 8. I've used studio's option burn movie to disc both as VCD & SVCD. It has crated a disc and it is playing with PowerDVD on my PC, but it won't play on my Cybercom DVD player.
I know my DVD player is capable of playing VCDs & SVCDs and it can also read CD-R. Do you think authoring with some other program will help? Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Uros.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt if you used another program to author such as the freeware version of VCDEasy or even Nero, which has it's own SVCD template. Just to be safe you probably shouldn't create any menus. You'll have to rip the mpeg from your SVCD disc with ISOBuster in order to use it in either of the two programs I mentioned.

Just a thought. Someone else might have a better suggestion.
