    hi,using virtualdub i captured a vhs movie,using huffy codec,then i TMPGEnc to encode it to MPEG2,ok..how do i make or "author" this to make a dvd,dont i have to make a video file? and a audio file? i am using Nero to "burn" it,what "free" program can i use to do this?or suggestions?,thanx,newbie to making dvd's.

    If you have a valid DVD m2v + a valid DVD audio file (ac3/mp2/lpcm) what you then need is to author (IfoEdit) make DVD image (imgtools classic) and finally burn (DVDDecrypter). All free tools.
