Is anyone familiar with EO Video? I read on here it's the only tool there is to convert RM files to avi.
And before anyone ask why I would want to convert RM to anything else, I download a Japanese drama (Trick 2) and I think Asians like to encode stuff to RMVB... they encoded it to very high resolution in RMVB! Which to me is just plain stupid! If u want good image quality, then stay the hell away from RM! Freak shows!!
Now, I use the latest EO Video and Xvid codec I dl last week, it works fine if I set it to 1 pass CBR, but if I set it to 2 pass, it fails! Anybody knows why?

Question, if I use EO Video to convert a high quality RMVB clip (max 1400kbs!) using Xvid, 1 pass, CBR at 1400kbs!! The output file will be quite big, then, I use VirtualDubMod to re-encode it again, using Xvid 2 pass. Will there be considerably more image quality loss than converting straight from RMVB to Xvid... (if it was possible to do 2 pass from EO Video, that is.)
Was this question confusing?
