Your Divx originals may only contain a 2 channel audio. How do they play on your PC with a 5:1 sound system?
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

Do you mean there is no sound at all or that you dont get the surround sound effects. Do you have a home theater? What do you mean by tv sound? Will it only play thru the tv's speakers?

  4. I`v got a home theatre and no sound comes from the surround speakers, I have use tv speakers. If I put an original in there`s no problem, just the ones I made. They play ok on my pc.

Also, when you do the transcoding of your video make sure you create true stereo (2 ch) audio and not "Joint Stereo". "Joint Stereo" tends to loose the phasing information required to produce the rear audio in a dolby surround sound mix.

  8. I just tried an older film I made, disc 1 was ok but disc 2 has no surround like the others, so something must have changed.
I only used stereo in the audio settings.

No sound comes from any of the speakers. I don`t know about the connections, I did`nt set it up.

Here's a thought: learn about them. Then you'll know what to do when it happens again.
