I have some movie that have been split into 2. I usually find it very straight foward joining them together with VirtualDub.
However with some files and I think it is only the AC3 ones when I join them and play it back the sound drops to near nothing exactly where to files were joined. The Sound come back in I move the mouse to another scene but that looks naff when recording.
Is there a way to join 2 AC3 file without the sound dropping at the joins.

AC3 is headerless, so can be joined (concatenated) by just doing:
copy file1.ac3+file2.ac3 b:all.ac3
