  1. When I encode 23.93fps divx/xvid video to ntsc dvd compliant video I sometimes get bad choppy video when theres a lot of movement. The coppyness isn't present in the original file. I use virtualdub to frameserve to tmpgenc and let tmpgenc's wizard set up encode mode ie, field order, 3.2 pulldown etc. Am I missing a setting somewhere or maybe using the wrong codecs or something? Hope someone can help. Thanks.

    Sounds like ghosting. Try swapping the field order.

  3. I've tried field order and it doesn't seem to make any difference. Any other ideas? Thanks

  5. I found the problem, two xvid codecs were installed so I uninstalled them. Then I installed the XviD-1.0-RC4-05042004 codec and all is well. Thanks.
