  1. For some reason I can never get svcd2mpg to finish a project. There are three steps that take place in the whole process:

    I think they are:
    demuxing
    encoding
    muxing

    The video demuxes just fine, however, it always stops at step 2:encoding, the ms-dos window is open and says 'mp3encoder' (i think thats what it says) but it just sits there and does nothing.

    I am choosing the option where it makes a separate audio and video file.

    Anyone know why the sound never gets encoded?

    I am using svcd .mpg files that I have from some old svcds lying around.

  2. Seems you are going about it the long complicated way.
    Get ISOBuster, open the disk, right click on the mpeg, and rip it to your hard drive.
    Instant mpeg2.
    After that, you can edit/reauthor in other software.
