  1. I am using DVD2SVCD to convert AVIs to SVCD image files. I have done many and had it work great each time, however, I have one AVI file that seems to have an error in it.
Every time DVD2SVCD gets to the part where BeSweet runs, it extracts the audio, then it says "encoding audio" and tries to run the following command:

    "C:\Movies\DVD2SVCD\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "C:\Movies\DVD2SVCD\Movie\Extracted_audio_1.wa v" -output "C:\Movies\DVD2SVCD\Movie\Encoded_audio_1.mp2" -logfile "C:\Movies\DVD2SVCD\Movie\Encoded_audio_1.log" ) -ota( -g max ) -shibatch( --rate 44100 ) -2lame( -e -b 128 -m s )

and promptly crashes. I have no idea how to fix this problem, or even exactly what is wrong. All three of those files it is trying to process exist, so thats not the problem.....
Anyone know what I could try to do to find out what the problem is? I have watched the AVI file it plays just fine. I have also installed the latest version.

One thing you could try is converting your avi's audio to wav. Open the avi with Virtualdub, go to the video menu and select "direct stream copy", go to the audio menu and select "full processsing mode" and then go to file and save as avi with new file name. Try running that through dvd2svcd.

  3. That didnt work *cry*
I used TMPGenc and converted it to an mpeg hoping that would fix any errors, but now I dont know how to convert from an mpeg to SCVD. I do have a program called VCD Easy that appears to be able to do it, but the evaluation doesnt let me work with anything over 200 megs heh.

Anyone know any other program I can try that can do mpeg to SVCD and allows you to specify how many disks to use? (I have been using Tylo for that)
