    Hi

The guide says you can demux your DVDs in your DVD-ROM with DVDDECRYPTER, right?

I have copied a DVD into my HDD (not using DVDDECRYPTER). Now I want to demux it (split the video, audio, subs) with DVDDECRYPTER but it won't open files from my DVD, just the DVD-ROM & the-so-called VIRTUAL DRIVE.

How can I get round this?

None. The subtitles are actually packed into the VOB files. VTS are sort of the indices to the VOBs. Same with audio.

  6. ==IMPORTANT==

I want everybody that reads this guide, to know that I am not active anymore (for about 1 year) in this 'domain'. I didn't add any more subtitles for more than 1 year. I have a full day job and I don't have time for this anymore.

I don't even use Windows anymore, for more than 5 months now.

I am so sorry if I disappoint anyone!

    Please help each other!

    Best regards.

You can try loading the movie in MPC or VLC. They will load the entire directory, and both support subtitles.

  12. i havent found the answer on my question in the forum so i though to write it to you and you might could give me the clue

its about the final step with the guide. the "ifo" program.
when i have selected the 2 files and then selected where i want to backup. i push the "update ifo" butten. telling me to say yes about the "writing updates to ifo and bup. ALL good. but then next window its gives me and ERROR about the original ifos pgc area is not large enouh to hold the new pgc. and its aborting.

what am i doing wrong? some thing about where i save the backup or what? every other action in your guide has work perfect i think and i have put on an ekstra sub (i hope )

I copy the movie files with DVD Decrypter in File Mode
    12.288 VIDEO_TS.BUP
    12.288 VIDEO_TS.IFO
    38.912 VIDEO_TS.VOB
    63.488 VTS_01_0.BUP
    63.488 VTS_01_0.IFO
    4.499.456 VTS_01_0.VOB
    1.072.846.848 VTS_01_1.VOB
    1.072.498.688 VTS_01_2.VOB
    1.072.533.504 VTS_01_3.VOB
    494.749.696 VTS_01_4.VOB
This have a menu, the video, and sound channel 5.1 and 4 subtitles
3 in nederlands language (normal, big and italic) and one in english
and I follow all instructions, import a srt subtitle in portuguese
generate new DVD with dvd lab pro, copy over the files (they have the
sane names and length VTS_01_1.VOB to VTS_01_4.VOB
I did the change to IFO with IfoUpdate on VTS_01_0.IFO
I Open the DVD into DVD power and the movie and sound ok but no more
subtitles at all.He enters menu. I try every combination and no subtitle.
Using Subrip 1.5 with the file VTS_01_0.ifo no subtitles was found.
Using it on original he shows normally nederland or english.

The is some problem into dvdlab so it did not generate the subtitles?
Sure I did exactly what you say and it appears at sub line.
There is a way to put a subtitle in place of one that already exists?
    thanks.

try to enter different values for the bottom subtitle. in the subtitle page there is button (im at work and cant remember it exactly but it at the left from the generate button) go there and enter 110 it should move the sub to the middle of themovie and if that will fix it u can go there later and lower the value until it be placed at good position.

I was wondering; I've purchased myself a 4 disc version of Howl's Moving Castle. The first disc contains excellent videoquality with only one perfect DTS ES 6.1 audio stream, but unfortunately NO subs!!! The second disc contains the movie with inferior image-quality, 5 silly stereo (!) audio streams, BUT it contains the subs I need.

My question; is it possible to add the subs from the second disc to the perfect video and audio of the first disc, with a simplified demux-mux method maybe? Could I maybe simply copy the IFO file from the second disc over the IFO of the first one, to let it know which subs there are, and simply copy a demuxed sub from the 2nd disc somehow?

  19. Hello to all.

I use this guide for all my dvds to add subs and is 100%.
But i buy The OC - Season 3 and in decrypter i get this:

A PGC "Play All" and 4 PGC with the 4 episodes.

I have created the 4 PGC with dvdlab, but i need the pgc play all to the dvd work.
I have use the pgcedit to create a pgc "play all" but will be title 5.
I want to know how can change position of a pgc to move the play all from title 5 to tile 1.

    Tks

I cant get dvd decrypter to keep the demuxing options for more than one of the main movies in TV series dvds. Is there a way around this?

As it is, the guide only works for movies with ONE main MOvie.

    I have a problem...
Until step 2/a everything goes fine. At step 2/b, when I import the audio file it accept's it, but then, when I am trying to import the 1st mpeg file the dvdlab-pro shows me a window with an ignorable error, still o.k., and then, I tryied to import the 2nd mpeg file and the program shows me an anignorable error and I just can't import the rest of the movie files! It also recommands me to fix the stream headers (tool menu). I tryied to do this and it pops a box that says: "nothing was fixed" or something like that.
    Please someone help me! Please!
I think it's the process with DVD Decrypter that goes wrong!
(I downloaded the movie from the internet in DVD files: .ifo, .vob, etc.)

    Hi

I have the exact same problem with the x-files and the millennium series. I don't know how we can add or even replace subtitles on Tv Shows. I bought the original without subtitles in Portuguese, and I was trying to add with this tuturial [witch is great, but only works on movies apparently], and got stuck in the middle, because in IFO Mode only passes a episode at a time, and if you try to pass the second it replaces the files.... How can we at least replace an existing subtitle? is it possible?
