    Just so you know PaTcHeR, your image can't be any larger than 50kb when uploading. You might want to experiment in the test forum.

  9. gspot just can say this:

    Size: 194 MB (or 198,884 KB or 203,657,865 bytes)
    mpeg format
    Video Source Type: MPEG1Payload
    Video path: (S) --> MPEG-I Stream Splitter --> MPEG Video Decoder --> (R)

    and something else : i converted it from boilsoft avi to vcd/dvd/svcd

    It would be helpful to know more specs such as resolution, frame rate and bitrate. You can get this info by opening up the mpeg with Virtualdub MPEG2 and going to File>File Information. Are you able to play the mpeg without any problems? I have a feeling your problem was caused by the Boilsoft program. They're not exactly known for their mpeg encoding prowess. You're better off using TMPGEnc.

    Looks like the bitrate is the problem. In order to be VCD compliant it must be 1150kbps. Try encoding the avi with TMPGEnc using the VCD template.

    Boilsoft also produced a shit file now didn't it?. :P Mainconcept MPEG Encoder is another good encoder and it's faster than TMPGEnc.

    It's not because Cucusoft is another one of those encoders that doesn't allow you reasonable control of the encoding parameters. Those are just cheap shortcuts that sacrifice quality for ease of use. The choice is yours.
