I've recently been using mac the ripper and dvd backup to rip my dvds, then using dvd2onex to compress the files. This process has been working very well for the majority of my dvd collection. However today I had problems trying to decrypt "superman" and "the fugitive". First I used mac the ripper and noticed that the decryption had taken very little time. I then opened dvd backup and sure enough there was an error decrypting Video title set 0. The options then given to me are to skip decrypting this file or to stop the process altogether. What I want to know is- if I skip the video title set 0 will the dvd copy that i make using dvd2onex still work in my dvd player, keeping in mind I only want the movie- none of the special features. If it is not going to work, could someone please outline the steps (if possible) so that it will.

    Thanks very much

You could give it a go i had one that did that to me so i skipped it and it works fine right through. I would however recommend that you burn to a rw if it works fine then burn to a r and away you go mate.

mac the ripper had problems on those?
Odd. I would personally try OSeX or YadeX to see if they can copy them over with out any errors.

Or you could request to join the MTR 2.0 beta test, and see if that fixes your problem.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."
