I want to record my old VHS tapes to DVD. Most have Dolby Prologic II soundtracks andI am looking for a way to convert to Dolby Digital and keep the Surround, or convert to a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. I know creating a TRUE 5.1 requires 6 tracks, but I am looking at a reasonable approximation.
I see MatrixMaster can upmix Prologic II to DD 5.1, but does anyone have any idea how to use it to create a new file I can use as AC3 to build the DVD conversion?
Thanks,
Mike Piper
