I'm coverting a 640x360 23.976fps 16:9 DviX video to DVD with TMPGEnc Plus. For some reason my video comes out zoomed when compared to the video I have on my computer. My settings are, starting with project wizard, DVD 16:9 NTSC, CBR MP2, aspect ratio is 16:9 525 line (NTSC), and under other settings video arrange method is Full Screen (keep aspect ratio). After burning the video to dvd the screen doesn't show the entire width of the video so part of the left and right looks cut out. However, when I set the video arrange method to Center (keep aspect ratio) the problem is solved. I've already read this: https://www.videohelp.com/tmpgencexplained.htm and it doesn't give me any info on what all the Full Screen options really do. If anyone has anymore info on this issue please reply.
I'm currently using virtualdub to rip the audio file from the video but virtualdub doesn't do variable bit rate. Does anyone know if there is another audio ripper out there thats of good quality and just like virtualdub but rips vbr as well?
