  3. I am going to try womble -see how it works
but i found out that if i multiplexed the mpeg before with bbmpeg as svcd then woble does not allow me to cut it as svcd only as mpeg program stream
do you know if i can add the svcd parametrs lost from bbmpeg again
or maybe i should multiplex it again only as mpeg2 stream in bbmpeg and then cut it in wombel demultiplex and remultiplex it in bbmpeg?

  4. well cutting in wombel after multiplexing as svcd in bbmpeg doesn't work - you loose the sound
Going to try the second method!

  6. Try My flix v3 .

I use to split all my vcd and svcd with no prob's.

It give's you in easy to see, your cut point in frames if just half of whole wont do (svcd) then ( X frames by frame rate (25-pal etc)) will give you how many seconds you are cutting.

Not sure but I think it also back's upto last key frame when cutting (or forward depending)

Havn't been using myflix long but seems ok.

  7. Myflix is only good for mpeg1 not mpeg 2
As for your method fatboy i used the same method - but in wombel....but when cutting according to frame:
Lets say you found the middle frame - cutting at that point does not assure you of getting to files of the same or even similar size - as that depends on the bitrate allocated (in vbr) the each half of the film.
By the way the program equvilant to myflix for mpeg 2 is edit pro 2 or Myflix ex - pitty i can't find them in spain - if anybody can hep on this one i would be glad.
