Can anyone recommend any good, technical books about video, digital video, etc.? Specifically, I'm looking for detailed information regarding the filming process (not filmmaker type stuff, more about the technology behind it). I've found a few books locally, but unfortunately they deal more with film making then how it all works. Any info is much appreciated!

go down to your local Borders, order a large coffee and pastry, grab all the books you can carry off their shelves on video etc, sit down on one of their comfortable chairs, and enjoy the whole day there.

Noki, I've already checked out my local Barnes & Noble and Borders. All of their books pertain more to filmmaking and not to the technology behind it all. While a few of those books did have some information about NTSC, PAL, etc., it only touched on it rather than giving the nitty-gritty details. I'm looking for the boring details.
