    everytime i get 1/2 way through a avi file converting to mpeg 2 dvd or svcd with pmpeg, i get a send mickysoft error even though ive swapped settings,upped the direct priority, changed the audio to a wav file with dvtool, is there a way to test the file for curruption?

    Send a message via MSN to mats.hogberg
    Use VirtualDub MP3 Freeze to scan for bad frames (which very likely is the source of your problem). There's even a guide for how to remove bad frames here somewhere. But IMHO, it's very rarely worth your while if you don't find correcting bad AVIs the highest pleasure imaginable...
